Lessons are tailored to each students' needs.

Having undergone pedagogical training overseas, Ms Serene is confident in moulding students' foundation well with her years of experience, incorporating the acquired concepts and unique practice methods that are effective. Students with Ms Serene would also develop good piano technique and understanding of music, that will in turn help them handle and appreciate difficult piano pieces for the later learning stages which will be very rewarding.
 
She has taught many students as young as 3 years old, instilling their interest in music early. Lessons are vibrant, with books from the Poco series/Faber Adventures often recommended to complement their music learning. Complete beginners will also be able to play a song within a lesson or two.

Alfred series and many english pop music books are helpful for intermediate/advanced students. Also, learn to play beautiful non-classical compositions by Yiruma, Joe Hisaishi, Disney, Christmas songs and more!

Leisure piano pieces are highly recommended for students taking the ABRSM examination to expand their repertoire list for a more holistic learning.

Over the years Ms Serene has also crafted out an effective practice method for students sincerely looking at scoring well in their music examinations.

She delivers quality lessons to help enable students to improve considerably after just one lesson. Students previously from other courses would also be able to transition into taking the ABRSM piano examinations. After working hard and following her practice methods closely, the students who have transitioned with her have scored distinctions/high distinctions.
