BRINGING OUT THE MUSIC IN YOU

Ms Serene is a Full time Piano teacher in Singapore, who has 11 years of music teaching experience under her belt. She graduated from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Degree (Credential registered with Gramercy). Prepares students for ABRSM Piano Examinations, as well as teaches students learning for leisure. She is passionate about instilling interest in music and bringing out the best in students.

Apart from guiding students in scoring HighDistinction/Distinction/Merit in ABRSM Piano Examinations, she has also guided students in attaining Gold/Silver in Piano Festivals reviewed by renowned adjudicators.

Previously taught in Australia before returning to Singapore. Till today she has taught over hundred students of many different countries and cultural backgrounds (America, Australia, Canada, China, Europe, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Vietnam etc.)

Upon returning to Singapore, she has also taught Piano in a Primary School. As she is experienced and loves teaching children, she teaches as young as 3 years old.

While Piano is her main instrument, she also enjoys playing the Cello and speaks multiple foreign languages. She has personally visited Vienna Austria, attending their local concert, and experiencing music history first hand by journeying through composers' birth houses and their history.
